About Me

I'm Michelle Dörig-Dimaano. A mother to a wonderful girl and a wife to an ever supporting and loving husband.

I've been teaching ESL to Koreans for eight years and found a new calling when I was given an opportunity to take a Master's degree in child development and education.

In the three years (two years schooling and a year doing my thesis) I've learnt about child development and education, a desire to help young children learn appropriately has grown in my heart. Our current education system for young children is not developmentally appropriate and focuses on output rather than the process.

Children learn through play.

For young children, the process is more important than the result.

And it is my advocacy to change what parents and what the society think about educating young children.

I still have a lot to learn and a lot to experience but I know that the Lord has instill in me the desire to help young children and assist parents in educating their children.
